Outreach Detroit 2026 is coming to Milliken State Park for a powerful day of unity, outreach, and encouragement. Families from across the city will enjoy free resources, live music, food, activities for children, and community support. Volunteers from around the country will join together to serve Detroit with compassion, prayer, and hope.

Outreach Detroit is focused on promoting collaboration among community organizations to better serve the city. The goal is to distribute essential goods and services to children and families in need while cultivating a spirit of service and compassion within the community. This initiative also seeks to fulfill the Biblical mandate of outreach and evangelism, mobilizing volunteers from across the U.S. and beyond to meet the needs of Detroit. Through prayer and support, the aim is to enhance the social, economic, and spiritual well-being of the community.

Free Hot Meals (Prayer and Plate)
Free Hot Meals (Prayer and Plate) will provide delicious, freshly prepared meals for all guests while also creating space for community prayer and fellowship. This experience is designed to bring people together around the table in gratitude, connection, and shared hope. It’s more than a meal—it’s a moment of care and unity for every attendee.
Free Groceries (Hope in a Bag)
Will provide essential food items to families in need, helping ensure access to nutritious meals at home. Each bag is prepared with care to support households with both practical relief and encouragement. This outreach is a simple but powerful way to bring hope and stability to the community.
Free Health Screenings
Access to essential health services, including basic screenings and helpful wellness information for all attendees. Medical professionals and volunteers will be available to support early awareness and prevention. This service is intended to encourage healthier living and provide care resources to the community.
Free Clothing (Clothing on their Backs)
A clothing drive offering essential apparel for individuals and families in need. Each item is given with care to promote dignity, comfort, and self-sufficiency. This outreach helps ensure that everyone has access to basic necessities in a respectful and supportive environment.
Community Prayer Walks
Guided walks throughout the park designed to encourage spiritual reflection, peace, and unity among participants. These moments provide space to pray, connect, and reflect while walking together in fellowship. The goal is to strengthen both personal faith and community bonds in a shared environment.
