All guests, vendors, volunteers, and attendees are required to check in at the Registration Table, located at the main entrance of the Detroit School of Arts, directly outside the Ford Auditorium foyer area. Greeters will be stationed nearby to guide you to the registration table.

Registration Check-in / Registration Table
All guests, vendors, volunteers, and attendees are required to check in at the Registration Table, located at the main entrance of the Detroit School of Arts, directly outside the Ford Auditorium foyer area. Greeters will be stationed nearby to guide you to the registration table.

If you have pre-registered for the conference, we will have your demographic information on file, and you will need to verify it at the registration desk.

Upon checking in, you will receive the following items:

  1. Name tag (please print your own name)
  2. Conference wristbands and/or badge
  3. Conference bag
  4. Conference program
  5. Attendee materials

Please note that wristbands or badges are required for entry into general sessions, workshops, venues, breakfast and lunch, the play, concerts, and conference shuttles.

Registration Table Hours:

  • Wednesday (at the DSA): 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
  • Friday: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM
  • Saturday: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
  • Sunday: CLOSED (All registration materials will be unavailable)

Conference Policies

Please be aware that registering for the GAi indicates that you have read and agree to adhere to the conference policies:

  • Conference name tags, wristbands, and/or badges must be worn at all times during conference hours and in designated areas.
  • Transferring or sharing badges with individuals who are not registered is prohibited.
  • The conference will replace a lost wristband or badge for registrants one time only for a nominal fee.
  • The use of the GAi name/logo or conference name/logo without prior permission is strictly prohibited, including in marketing materials and social media posts. The conference name may only be used in appropriate contexts related to attending the MEGA Conference 2.0.
  • Selling and direct delivery of merchandise on the Sabbath (Friday 6 PM – Saturday 6 PM) is strictly forbidden at the conference.
  • Workshop breakout rooms will close once capacity is reached, adhering to Fire Code regulations. Altering existing seating arrangements is prohibited.
  • Please refrain from entering or exiting during presentations, out of respect for the speakers.
  • Cell phones should be set to silent or vibration during all presentations. Livestreaming and recording are permitted.
  • GAi is not liable for any financial expenses, losses, theft, property damage, or personal injury resulting from participation or attendance at any conference functions.
