The Laws Legacy

Dr. Michael Laws, affectionately known as “Pastor Mike,” was a dedicated man of faith born on September 10, 1950. He played a pivotal role in the Hebraic community through his unwavering love and commitment to his family and Congregation Beit Ephraim. His contributions extended beyond his immediate community, as he devoted his life to promoting the principles of the Torah and addressing the needs of the marginalized.
As a founding member of the Hebrew Academy International, Dr. Laws emphasized the importance of Hebraic education, which has been instrumental in guiding the diaspora back to Torah observance. He was a major contributor and founding organizer of Great Awakening International founded in 2019, a movement aimed at uniting individuals seeking their true identity and fostering connections within the Hebrew community and various sectors.
Dr. Laws, along with his wife, Dr. Sandra Laws, impacted the current worship practices and biblical understanding within the Great Awakening Movement through their teachings at local assemblies and conferences. His notable works, including “A 7 Day Journey: Insight into the BIBLICAL FEAST,” have greatly enhanced the understanding of biblical feasts, reaching audiences around the globe.
On September 15, 2022, Dr. Laws transitioned to await the return of Yahshua Ha Mashiach, leaving behind a legacy characterized by strength, hope, and unconditional love. He is remembered as a father figure within the Great Awakening International, embodying the movement’s mission to gather the lost tribes of Israel.
The upcoming Mega Conference in Detroit will honor Dr. Laws’ legacy through an event titled “The Laws Legacy,” held on July 4, 2026, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at Huntington Place. This gathering will celebrate the significant spiritual contributions of both Dr. Michael and Dr. Sandra Laws, recognizing their profound impact on the Awakening and Hebrew Roots Movement community. The tribute will reflect their commitment to promoting truth, social justice, and outreach efforts, ensuring that their legacy continues to inspire and uplift those in need.
